Grow your own Lebanese Cucumbers! Beit Alpha Cucumbers are a popular, store-bought variety that is excellent to eat. Beit Alpha Cucumbers produce medium-green fruit that grow up to 16cm in length. The fruit is crisp with a thin skin. Beit Alpha Cucumbers can be grown vertically using a trellis or you can let the plant branch out horizontally. This cucumber variety prefers a sunny position in your garden with well-draining fertile soil. This variety of cucumber does not require pollination to produce fruits.

This product has been treated with thiram. Thiram treated seeds are safe to plant and produce crop from. Do not consume the treated seeds.

Sow seeds directly into your garden bed or pot approximately 10 to 12mm deep, leaving around 30cm between Beit Alpha Cucumber seeds. Alternatively, you can raise seedlings in a protected area (in a greenhouse or indoors) and plant out when the last frost has passed. Keep soil moist (but not soggy!). Best sown in spring, but the sowing season will depend on your climate*. Ideally, sow seeds when the temperature is between 20 to 30°C. Germination occurs within 4 to 14 days. Beit Alpha Cucumbers reach full maturity within approximately 55 days.
