Sow seeds directly into your garden bed or pots approximately 2mm deep, leaving around 30cm between Genova Basil seeds. Alternatively, you can raise seedlings in a protected area (in a greenhouse or indoors) and plant out after about 3 to 4 weeks making sure the last frost has passed. Leave approximately 50cm between rows of Genova Basil. Keep soil moist (but not soggy!). Best sown in spring, but the sowing season will depend on your climate*. Ideally, sow seeds when the temperature is between 18 to 32°C. Germination occurs within 5 to 10 days. Genova Basil reach full maturity within approximately 55 to 80 days.
