Sow seeds direct or raise seedlings in a protected area (in a greenhouse or indoors). Sow seeds approximately 15mm deep, leaving 30cm between seeds or seedlings. Leave 50cm between rows of Rainbow Swiss Chard. Start seeds in spring, autumn, or summer*. Rainbow Swiss Chard can grow under a wide range of conditions, just ensure not to plant in extreme heat or frosts. Germination occurs within 5 to 10 days, at an ideal temperature of 10 to 30°C. Rainbow Swiss Chard reaches full maturity within 50 to 65 days.
